This is a wonderful organic extra fine ground almond flour at 48% protein content. This is a finely ground flour and is not the same as ground almonds or almond meal. Our extra fine almond flour is high in protein and low in carbs and is suitable for many types of gluten/grain free diets. This product is a de-oiled almond flour ground to a much finer texture than our regular ground almond flour.
Our extra fine almond flour is great for lower carb gluten free baking and thickening but requires a little more experience to bake with. For those interested in trying out almond flour recipes such as those from Elena Amsterdam, please note recipes would have to be adapted and you will need less of our fine flour than the equivalent amount of normal ground almonds.
