Our wonderful Organic Peruvian 71% Dark Chocolate Drops is made with just three ingredients, cocoa butter, panela and cocoa mass. Harvested from the Finest North Peruvian Cocoa Beans from San Martin. The flavour is intense and refined with notes of floral and citrus alongside the light caramel and honey taste which comes from the sweetness of the Panela.
What is Panela?
Panela is an unrefined cane sugar, native of South America. Due to the molasses it retains many of its nutrients antioxidants, potassium, calcium, zinc, magnesium and iron, and the important vitamin B6.
This product is excellent for baking and desserts such as cakes, ice cream and cookies or make your own chocolate bars adding fruit and nuts to the top, delicious! Try in home made trail mixes with our fruit, nuts and seeds or simply eat straight out of the bag!
