We’ve created our fantastic new pioneering Purple Berry Blend of our favourite ingredients for you to add to hot water or to blend into your smoothies and juices in an easy teaspoon. Packed with our antioxidant and vitamin boosting purple berry ingredients it’s got equal parts acai powder, maqui powder and blueberry powder! The maqui and blueberry powder add a nice sweetness to the blend and they help balance out the tartness and earthy flavour of the acai powder. All three powders are freeze dried. The reason we’re fans of this process is because freeze drying fruit removes the moisture from the fruit without cooking it which means the natural colour, flavour and nutrients of the fruit is preserved. Here’s what’s in it with the nutritional low down:
Organic Acai Powder – Acai Berries are high in antioxidants, omega fatty acids and vitamin C. With 0% sugar and 32% fibre content is makes a great addition to this mix!
Organic Maqui Powder – Maqui is a deep purple berry that’s grown naturally in South America. Maqui Berries are rich in essential nutrients, antioxidants and they have anti inflammatory properties
Organic Blueberry Powder – Adds a natural sweetness to the blend aswel as increasing the overall fibre content. The blueberries contribute to the overall delicious slightly tart, fruity flavour!

**To help stop freeze dried fruits softening, temperatures should not exceed 20º C and 65% relative humidity. As these conditions can vary depending on the season, the weather conditions and location of your delivery, the freeze dried fruits can, on occasion, become soft. As these are factors that are out of our control, please note we cannot accept returns for freeze-dried products if they have gone soft. Once the product is in your possession, we would advise resealing the bag quickly after opening or if you decant it into a container ensure it is airtight and completely dry as any exposure to air or moisture will result in the product becoming soft.**
Suggested uses:
Acai powder can be added to drinks and smoothies, mixed with our coconut milk powder to make a high anti oxidant/fatty acid drink, we’ve even added it to cookies, ice cream and icing to get a rich natural purple colour!
